On June 19, 2009, I attended a retirement party for a dear co-worker at Halligan’s Sports Bar and More. We had the best time ever. The accommodations were perfect for seating a fairly large group at round tables so that you could chat with everyone. The doors between the bar and the function room were open for a period of time so we were able to mingle and be social with everyone that came. When it came time for the “roast”, the doors could be quickly closed to provide the quiet and privacy for the special guest of honor. Everyone had a great view of the entire room and when someone needed to speak, there was a microphone with perfect acoustics so that everyone could be heard.
And then, after the roast and a singing rendition from co-workers for our guest of honor, the doors were opened between the banquet hall and bar area and the party began once again.
The lighting and atmosphere made for a pleasant environment, and of course there were special little touches from the bathroom to the bar that showed the people who run Halligan’s want your night to be special.

Halligan's Sports Bar and Moreis the place to be!! I recently attended a function there and had a wonderful experience! The owners, Diane and Steve, were very hospitable and accommodating. The function room was very clean and nicely decorated with table clothes and matching flowers. The close proximity of the bar made it easy to enjoy the activities in both rooms, including the karaoke and dancing. Thanks for a fun time!!!

To the staff at Halligan's;
I recently held a 40th surprise birthday party in your function room. I
wanted to thank you and your staff for a wonderful experience.
I spent months planning and had approximately 150 guests. The room was
just perfect. It was clean and ready for me to decorate. Your staff was
kind and helpful, they even offered to help organize and place my
balloons & center pieces. The kitchen attached to the function room made
it especially helpful for storing extra foods and for keeping certain
foods hot. The function room bar was stocked with all my guests'
favorite drinks.
Through out the night I kept hearing my guests say how nice everything
looked and that they didn't even know that your function room was there.
My guest of honor had the night of his life. The food, music, dancing
and drinks all went off without a hitch.
I am sincerely grateful to all for providing the perfect setting for my
party. I wouldn't hesitate to highly recommend your facility to anyone
looking for a warm and friendly place to host any type of function.
